Area RepresentativesIt was instigated in 1970 at a Committee Meeting in March/April of that year and was announced in the Newsletter No. 37. The scheme was started primarily to try and encourage Open Shows to put on classes for Papillons, as they were very few and far between in those days, and it was felt with Representatives in various areas they could start encouraging societies to schedule Papillon classes. It was also established to encourage socialising between Club events especially for our pet members. The scheme has now expanded and Area Representatives are available to offer advice and encouragement to new members on a wide variety of Papillon related matters. They also help with the Welfare/Rescue scheme by being available to do home checks and transfers and to keep in touch with new Papillon owners if required. . Click here for the Representative's Guidelines. If you are looking for a puppy, please contact the Puppy Register, NOT your area representative.
